Scholarships for Hope: Supporting 29 Girls from Afghanistan
In partnership with the Alekain Foundation, we launched one of our most meaningful initiatives to date: the Claim Your Diploma scholarship program. In 2024, 831 Afghan girls applied for the opportunity to complete their high school diploma online. With the support of Alekain and Smart Schools International, 29 young women were awarded full scholarships, laptops, and mentorship support.
Many of these girls come from regions where education for women has been restricted or outright banned. For them, this program represents more than academic achievement—it is a lifeline, a statement of dignity, and a pathway to freedom.Global Vision Scholarship
A lifeline for deserving students
Through our Global Vision Scholarship, Smart Schools International offers full and partial scholarships to deserving students from economically challenged backgrounds. Whether they are refugees, students living in remote areas, or youth facing personal hardship, our goal is simple: ensure that no student with potential is denied an education because of cost.
To date, we’ve awarded scholarships to students across 25+ countries, from Nepal to Nigeria, from Brazil to Bangladesh. These students are completing a U.S. high school diploma online, gaining the tools they need to pursue college and career goals and make a global impact.
Building a bridge through international collaboration
Our impact is growing. In 2025, we began working with educational agents and NGO partners in Uganda and the Philippines to provide an accredited high school curriculum through Global Partnership for Education (GPE) channels.
By collaborating with local schools and international aid organizations, we are positioning ourselves as a trusted educational provider in developing nations, especially in communities where traditional schooling is inaccessible or underfunded.
These efforts align with our larger goal: to become a scalable, cost-effective solution for delivering high-quality education where it’s needed most.
